I'm Cyprien — a director, product designer, and producer. I would rather move between the three than settle into one.

Underneath all of it I am interested in systems: how they are built, and what they teach the people inside them to expect of themselves. A technical fix is only ever half a solution. The other half is behavior — whether people use the thing, trust it, tell it the truth — and behavior follows the picture people hold of themselves inside the system. Narrative is the most reliable way I know to change that picture.

In practice that means building the tool and the story together. Project Baobab is environmental compliance software for infrastructure sites in West and Central Africa. The code is the easy part; the hard part is a field operator choosing to log a problem their ministry will see. The Climate Gap Atlas puts numbers on which countries absorb climate damage they did not cause, so the argument can start from evidence. The films come at the same question from the other side: people working out who they are inside systems larger than them, from a wrongful conviction to an eating disorder.
